NWA EMCOMM TATICAL HAM IN THE PARK

On Saturday August 29th we will be setting up a tactical net control area At Mark Maddox KL7IWT’s home 15563 E Hwy 94 Rogers, Arkansas 72758  See the Google maps.  We will start location planning at 3 PM and are scheduled to be on the air at 4 PM.

We will be setting up a net control command connection with Benton County emergency operations (simulated by N5RGD). We will use BCRO repeaters for main frequencies. Mark Maddox KL7IWT  will be NCS at his house. We will be deciding the remote locations to transmit mobile from and then each mobile station will go to that general area and check in on BCRO and simplex  We would like hams interested in participating to come to our tactical location.  All who cannot participate in person at the tactical location can join the command net from their location. We will be closing the event at 7 pm.  After action reports and comments will be accepted on the web site contact form.

We will be doing a tactical setup on a monthly basis and using our email list and announcements on the weekly Monday night net to let those wanting to participate know the location, time and instructions. The purpose of these events is to prepare for emergency activation.
